BIOGRAPHY
Janet was born in England but she has lived in California for the last 30 years. (LA, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Palm Springs, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano).
She has been married for 50-years with 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Her art has sold to private collectors in Laguna Beach, LA, New York, Chicago, London, and Australia.
In regards to her work, Janet says "I like the idea of second chances, re-cycling materials, mixing media, layers and texture, accidents of technique, the alchemy, varied and genre free.
My concept, is to form images/sculptures that take the viewer on a journey, not to get anywhere in particular, but to experience the beauty of creation. If a question is asked "what is the artist trying to say, is there a message here?" My reply is "relax, enjoy, it's only art".
